Good read, Coach!!

Also, happy to hear that, something virtual is being done for the local kirana shops. Well, here in Calcutta, the auto rickshaws are going door to door to sell milk, bread, eggs, etc to earn their living.

“Messenger Rooms” is the new thing I got know. Overall, it was fun reading this newsletter ( especially the stand up comedy on Indigo😄)

Waiting for your next one:)

Everybody is adapting to the New Normal. Online/virtual would be way of life. Indigo has exhibited enough ego to deserve some occasional dressing down !

No doubt Sir.

Good read! Reading about the zoom and jio bit just reminded of all the times we spent talking about reliance on class. Is there anything reliance can't do? 😂

Did you get a Jio Sim yet ? If not, then Reliance has a long way to go !

Good read! Surely in times like this we should be motivated on not taking back the joy; as rightly mentioned, when these moments add up, they result in strength and happiness :)

A most thought provoking read, makes me wonder what the future holds for the education sector in India here on. With the prevailing problems in the Indian education ecosystem, do you think that the “new normal” or say, the onset of platforms as a way of life, can start a revolution in the Indian education system?

Wishing good health and brighter days.

Online or digital is definitely the way forward and in fact the educational leaders of tomorrow would be decided on their digital strategy. EdTech platforms would be transformative experience for all the partner in the ecosystem including students. We must all be prepared for the "New Normal".

Stay Positive and Cheerful.

Every week, your articles help reinforcing scattered thoughts and the may-be situations with better examples and explanations. Thank you!

Indeed, the way businesses would change the fundamental way they have been running till now. With Media & Entertainment doing best amongst all - Star had a staggering loss of 571 million USD whereas Netflix enjoying the highest share price till date. Things will have to move digital, until we see a vaccine in sight.

What now bothers in the Indian context is lack of players in the Telecom domain - there is hardly anyone other than Airtel, Jio to depend for the bridge for success of any business turning digital.

And very rightly said, few businesses will cease to exist, by the time world breathes normal again.

Hope to see you soon!

And your comments and opinions makes it easier for me to continue the discussion. So, thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

Indian telecom is still low ticket size and that's why the investment intensity is also pretty low. This lack of options might hurt our chances of making a digital leapfrogging.

I would like to visit a salon soon after the lockdown is lifted, though this one will be silly but I feel this is the most important thing that is running in our minds right now. The message that says Joy allows us to go on living and loving is so apt and everyone of us has to come up with our own passion towards things which we love to do, so that we can keep ourselves joyful and motivated. In the coming days, not all but most of the businesses will have to drive works online, as it is clearly evident that during this pandemic while all other businesses are dying down FAANG companies are operating online, some of these are platform based and are still in the race and performing quite good. So for the professionals who have an idea to enter the market will have to focus on platform type of business which will become the new normal. The standup comedy video gave the real scenario of how the business was operating and I enjoyed watching the video. We are all blessed to have you in our life sir!! We Love you too!! Thank you for keeping us all motivated through this period.

Count me in for the salon visit ! I like the perspective that even the professional might want to launch or align with platform businesses in near future. In fact, this newsletter is an example of using a platform "SubStack" to offer a product "Business Analysis" to an audience. How is everybody missing "BAT" from China ! Not the Coronavirus kind but the troika of Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent !

Sir what i think is most of the customers in india know about alibaba because it offers some unique products such as a mechanical watch which is unique of its kind and I didnt find the same product offered by Amazon or Flipkart or any other E-commerce companies dealing in India and the other two companies Baidu and Tencent - Indian customers barely know about them as their presence is rare in Indian market unlike FAANG.

Well !! Another cheerful newsletter during these awful times sir. If I talk about in terms of Taking back joy as mentioned, it is indeed true during this situation as well. Where an individual can find joy in everything during this lockdown, majority of the people are spending quality time with their parents which is impossible if this lockdown would not have happened. The moment should be seized and should be enjoyed because once this goes away it will again be a roller coaster ride for everyone :)

Thanks Ashita for striking a positive chord. In fact, this "Great Pause" has been a wonderful opportunity to catch up on all the joys of family. We have been privileged to have this comfort in such difficult times. My heart goes out for friends who are away from their families.More power to all.

I would selectively meet people at home. I am all alone in Pune now. The first thing I will do after everything resumes to normalcy is to go visit my parents. I feel like a crusader to be alone through this but now I know that this has prepared me to tolerate any kind of isolation in future and taught the true difference between "Lonely" and "Alone".

On the work front;WFH has been a good thing for me as I have some extra time now for self development.

This newsletter indeed tells us how things are going to change in the "New Normal".However, what I like the most is how beautifully you have articulated one of the biggest lessons of life. The power of staying in a state of joy. I think there cant be a better medicine than laughter to face the toughest times in life. What it does is that it gives us the strength to move forward.

Thank you.
