Something that has been on my mind recently, Slowing Down in this Faster Covid-19 afterlife. Not that WFH was slow, but, a much-needed boost to think over decisions now. :)
First of all, let me start by thanking you for the recommendations of books to read; will be positively looking forward to it. In this rapid fast world, sometimes it’s hard to get slow and enjoy the moments, to which I’m pretty sure that COVID-19 has given us a chance for that.
Well, you mention about Nilesh Mishra, I’m his huge fan, since I was preparing for JEE in the year 2012, there was his show called on 92.7 BigFM, ‘Yaado ka Idiot Box with Nilesh Mishra’. Moreover, I also love his ‘Slow’ series which you have also mentioned and another honourable mention which I want to make is ‘Gaon Connection with Nilesh Mishra’.
Also, in your interview you talked that you just have to look at Khardung la, and keep running at it to reach it. I remembered an incident from my very own life that, when I was young I wanted to do or achieve many Khardung la (a representation of goals to achieve); but as I grow up, Khardung la keep getting narrowed and others which I thought of were left out. However, by listening to you gave me another energy to look and talk to that younger Aashish, & understand his perspective for setting so many Khardung la to achieve it. And will surely try to achieve it.
Also, want you to thank for the common invitation to tracking in Himalayas at the end of May.
I hope to join you on the trek this year. Wishful thinking :)
You are always welcome.

Slow down to get ahead seems to be great mantra. Keep up the good work, Rubel!
