Huge respect to Jivika Foundation for their amazing 'Vaccines for All' initiative, driven by passionate alumni like Jignesh Patel and Ankit Singh. Their dedication to accessible healthcare is truly inspiring. Let's take these lessons to heart and make positive contributions to our own lives and society as a whole.
Thank you for sharing such an insightful and comprehensive newsletter! The SUMMER framework you've outlined is truly inspiring, offering a holistic approach to personal and professional growth. I particularly resonate with the emphasis on self-awareness and mindfulness, as these are areas I'm actively working on during my internship experience.

I'm eagerly anticipating the start of my internship at BNY Mellon.
Earlier to that I am working on the SDG (SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL) project as a part of my 3 months internship.
During this internship, I grasped the clear gist of the "essence of working in the field" and experiencing the exposure when it comes to "field work" or "actually making an impact on individuals" of our understanding of sustainability.
Breaking down my personal experience of this SDG Project in the SUMMER framework-
1. Self-Awareness - This internship helped to identify my polished strengths and weaknesses and even guided me to navigate other challenges. The major point I realized is being smart about using what's available to me, whether it's time, money, or opportunities. Organizing the workload through charting it down.
2. Understanding - Through LinkedIn posts and various other social media platforms I am able to leverage my understanding for sustainability practices among the large audience.
3. Mindfulness - During the internship on sustainability I gained the habit of prioritizing my physical and mental health. Initially started with 10000 steps daily which eventually proved to be quite tough for me for first two weeks... But by the end of third week I was able to achieve 10000 steps
per day and 70000 per week..... For me, it was success which I gained with hard work for a good cause.
Since my 6th- 7th Grade I've consistently practiced meditation helping me to keep myselg composed in stressful situation.
4. Meaningful Connection - Via LinkedIn I have advanced tremendous networking with various INDUSTRIAL EXPERTS from top MNCs ranging with various experience years and various IBS Alumni trying to understand the complexities they faced during the transition period from being an student into the corporate world.
5. Elevate - Digital resources such as online courses (from the course era), webinars offered me an endless opportunity for acquiring new skills and expanding my knowledge.
6. Resilience - During my internship I've developed one important thing i.e., maintaining a determined mindset by which I overcame various obstacles and achieved my goals with perseverance.
The SIP is a way for us to get exposed to the real world of corporate and experience things which we will be facing 7 months from now. And this is the time for us to prepare and make the most out of it. With your best mentoring practises, I have at least started to read about the relevant things and get updated on it. My LinkedIn network is building consistently and by connecting with the people, I am able to understand their roles, responsibilities, skills required for the respective job, which otherwise I could not have gained insights into. Weekly reports is the best way to reflect on the entire week and understand your shortcomings, strengths, improvement areas, and most importantly yourself. As I am mid way in this internship, I see how I have transformed in terms of my perspective towards things, knowledge about the world, the importance of listening to your elders and about LIFE.
